This Privacy Policy explains how Pith Inc. ("Pith," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit pithinc.com, submit our contact form, call us, or exchange text messages with us. Pith Inc. installs lead-response bots for trades businesses.

Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, call, email, or text us, we may collect:
- Name and business name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Your trade and anything you write in the message field
- The content of text messages you exchange with us, and the phone number and time of calls or texts you send us
SMS consent record
If you check the text message consent box on our form, we keep a record of that consent: that you agreed, the date and time (timestamp), the IP address the form was submitted from, the phone number you provided, and the exact wording and version of the consent language you agreed to. We also keep a record if you later opt out.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and answer your questions
- Schedule calls or meetings with you and send related follow-ups
- Send text messages about your inquiry, if you agreed to receive them, texted us first, or called and we missed your call (see SMS / text messaging)
- Keep records of consent and opt-out requests, and honor those requests
- Operate, maintain, and secure our website and services
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information.
SMS / text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
The only exception is service providers that process this information on our behalf solely to deliver messages and run our messaging service, such as our SMS platform provider (Twilio) and wireless carriers. They are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
- When we text you: if you check the text message consent box on our contact form, or if you text us first. When you call Pith Inc. (or a business using Pith's service on its own line) and the call is missed, a short recorded message tells you that you'll receive a text at the number you called from about your inquiry, and that you can reply STOP to opt out. We send one relevant text in reply, and further messages only if you respond.

- Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and your replies.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in.

- Consent is optional. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
How long we keep information
- Inquiry information (form submissions, messages, and contact details) is kept for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any business relationship that follows, and then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
- SMS consent and opt-out records are kept for at least four years after your last interaction with us, so we can show proof of consent and continue to honor opt-out requests.
- We may keep information longer if required by law or to resolve disputes.
Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP at any time to opt out.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email zach@pithinc.com to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We may keep a minimal record of an opt-out request so we can continue to honor it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date below.
